Meetings, recorded and transcribed. Built first for Hebrew.
ONDA is a meeting recorder and transcriber for Hebrew speakers, with English support. It records your meetings, writes transcripts with named speakers, and produces summaries, action items and notes. You can also ask it questions about a meeting. ONDA is made by Tuval AI.
How it works

- TranscribeGet a transcript of what was said.
- Name speakersEach part of the transcript is attributed to a named speaker.
- SummariseSummaries, action items and notes, plus answers to your questions.
- Store in your own folderEverything is saved as ordinary files where you choose.
The apps
ONDA for Mac
A menu-bar recorder that captures any app's audio plus your microphone, with a live transcript and private notes.
ONDA Engine
A local service on your Mac. It transcribes on-device with ivrit-ai Whisper and identifies speakers.
ONDA for Chrome
An extension that records a meeting tab plus your microphone, and reads participant display names from Google Meet, Zoom and Teams pages.
ONDA GO for iPhone
Records with the iPhone microphone, downloads recordings from Bluetooth pocket voice recorders, imports audio, and transcribes and summarises with Google Gemini. Live transcription is supported.
Windows
A Windows app is planned.
Your data stays yours
- Each meeting is saved as ordinary files (audio, transcript, Markdown summaries and a standalone HTML player) in a location you choose.
- Tuval AI runs no server for ONDA and never receives your recordings, transcripts or Google account data.
- Processing happens on your device. AI requests go directly from your device to the AI provider (Google Gemini API) using the API key you configure in the app.
- Speaker voiceprints are stored only on your own Mac and you can delete them.
Google account access
Connecting a Google account is optional, and you choose whether to do it. If you connect, ONDA requests only the following access:
Google Drive
Scope: drive.file. ONDA creates one folder in your Drive, uploads your recordings into it, and renames those files when you rename a recording. It can access only the files and folders ONDA itself created. It cannot see anything else in your Drive.
Google Calendar
Scope: calendar.events.readonly (read-only). ONDA reads your calendar events to show upcoming meetings and attendees and to link each recording to the meeting it belongs to. It never creates, changes or deletes events. Calendar data is used only inside the app on your device.
Account identity
Scopes: openid, email. Used only to show you which Google account is connected.
Sign-in tokens are stored only on your device (in the iOS Keychain on iPhone) and are deleted when you disconnect. You can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. For full details, read the Privacy Policy.
ONDA's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
